Top 5 Uncapped Indian Players who might Be selected for Bangladesh tour: The Indian Premier League (IPL) was started with a primary aim to extract the best of the young and potential talents from the country. The message crafted on the trophy goes like : “Yatra pratibha avsara prapnotihi”, which in English goes like, “Where talent meets opportunity”. As a matter of fact, IPL has been the breeding ground of young talents and throughout the seven years, we have seen plenty of players emerging from IPL. IPL 8 has been no exception to it’s earlier versions. Prior to the IPL, Iyer had a decent Ranji season for Mumbai where he scored 809 runs in 10 matches with an innings of 153 runs being his highest. The 20-year old right-hand batsman has given Delhi Daredevils a number of steady starts in this season. He has already succeeded in proving his talent and will definitely be considered by the national selectors during the selection of the squad for Bangladesh tour. In this IPL, Iyer has scored 419 runs in 13 matches with an individual highest of 83 runs against Mumbai Indians. This young lad has looked grammatically correct in his batting approach and has impressed many by his well timed shots. 2. Also, his googlies troubled the batsmen to a considerable extent. In this IPL too, the leg spinner has been one of the prime strengths of RCB’s bowling attack. The Haryana-born youngster has managed to pick up 17 wickets in 11 matches in this IPL so far. Chahal has been into the Haryana side for quite some time and has picked up 32 first class wickets so far. It is just the tip of his career and he has a lot more to prove in the near future but his spinning instinct might get the leggie selected for the Bangladesh tour. 3. The right handed batsman has played many classy innings so far and his innings of 94 in the final of IPL 7 against Kings XI Punjab turned the fate of the match in favour of his team, KKR. Also, Pandey has been the architect of Karnataka’s emphatic Ranji triumph in 2014 and 15 season. To add more, this man has also got an IPL century by his name for Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2009. In this IPL, he has come handy for KKR on a few occasions. The middle order batsman has scored 203 runs in 11 matches for KKR. Also, prior to the IPL, he had a healthy domestic season for Karnataka with the bat and has scored 570 runs in 11 matches with an average of 54.07. It is high time that he gets an opportunity to play for his country. 4. Sandeep Sharma: Sandeep Sharma KXIP. (Photo Source: BCCI) The young find of IPL 7 played a magnificent role for KXIP and had immense contributions in the success of KXIP. The right arm young medium pacer from Punjab also had a decent Ranji season prior to this IPL where he bagged 28 wickets in 7 matches with an average of 22.03. The 21-year old pacer has performed quite decently for KXIP in this edition as well, but hasn’t got the desired support from other bowlers. Sandeep has 11 wickets in 13 matches for his team. Selectors might experiment him on Bangladesh tour as he seems to possess disciplined line and length which is a necessity for the shorter versions of the game. 5. Deepak Hooda: Deepak Hooda RR. (Photo Source: BCCI) The uncapped player from Rajasthan Royals has played incredibly well for the team so far and has won few matches for RR in this season. Also, the bowling all-rounder for Baroda had a decent Ranji season and was amongst the leading run scorers of Ranji Trophy in 2014-15 season. Hooda has managed to score 557 runs in 8 matches for Baroda with an average of 50.63. He has been a pinch hitter for RR in this season and his short cameos made serious impacts for them. He has scored 140 runs so far in this IPL with a whooping strike rate of 172.83.
