4. New Zealand
They are currently occupying second place in the ICC World Test Championship. New Zealand have so far featured in 11 games in the ongoing tournament. While the Kane Williamson-led side has won 7 matches, they have lost 4. The Kiwis are just behind the Indian side and have accumulated 420 points thus far. And, in the 7 matches, New Zealand have used as many as 21 players.
Kane Williamson has been the stand-out performer for the Black Caps as far as the willow is concerned. The Kiwi skipper has scored 817 runs in the tournament at an average of 58.35. Williamson has also scored 3 centuries and a half-century in the 14 innings that he has played thus far. On the bowling front, Tim Southee has emerged as the highest wicket-taker for the Kiwis in the World Test Championship, having scalped 51 wickets at an average of 20.66.
New Zealand enjoyed a fruitful home season in the last couple of months.
