Yuvraj Singh mocked by netizens after his 'welcome to 700 club' congratulatory tweet for Cristiano Ronaldo

Former Indian batter Yuvraj Singh was trolled badly by the netizens for his congratulatory tweet to football icon Cristiano Ronaldo. The left-handed batter heaped praise on Ronaldo as the prominent footballer became the first individual to score 700 club career goals.

Yuvraj, who is quite active on social media platforms, is also a fan of Ronaldo as he tweeted about him previously as well. However, Yuvraj's recent tweet about the star footballer gave a reason to netizens to troll the former Indian batter.

The fans were quick to point out Yuvraj for his 'welcome to 700 club' comment that created all the problems. The netizens asked Yuvraj if he is a part of some '700 club' apart from other trolls. Netizens also asked him the meaning of 'club' when Ronaldo is the first footballer to achieve the feat

Meanwhile, Ronaldo is receiving praise from all corners of the world as he became the first player to accomplish this feat. “That is really impressive when you score 700 goals, it is a huge performance,” said Manchster United Manager, Ten Hag. “I am really happy for him, and congratulations to him.

“He had to wait for it but I am sure more goals will come. Every player needs the goals. I have worked with goalscorers, they need goals every season to have that feeling. Once they have some goals, they have the flow. Games go easier. That will happen with him as well,” he added.
