Yes, it’s the skipper of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli who recently posted a nostalgia filled post for his elder sister on Twitter to celebrate the auspicious day.

Since the entire Indian team is away on tour to England, many of them with siblings have conveyed their wishes via social media.

Kohli has been known to be extremely fond of his family. Be it his mother, wife, elder brother or his elder sister, the cricketing star is often found posting pictures with his family on his Twitter and Instagram handles. This time around, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Kohli chose to post a picture of his childhood where he’s seen alongside his sister, Bhawna Dhingra, cutting a cake while their mother, Saroj Kohli looks on affectionately.
He captioned the picture as “Throwback to fond memories with @bhawnadhingra2 Didi Wishing a very Happy #Rakhi to all the sisters around the world. #Rakhshabandhan.”
On the professional front, Virat Kohli has been leading his team in one of the most challenging tours that India has been to in recent times. After having been dealt out with two back to back blows at Edgbaston and Lord’s, the Indian team bagged their first Test victory of the series at Trent Bridge, taking the tally to 2-1 in favour of England. Kohli, himself, has been in exemplary form with a century apiece in Birmingham and Nottingham, and another 97-run innings to his name already in the ongoing Test series.
