Virat Kohli confirms that he will be back on the field sooner rather than later
RCB captain Virat Kohli and their vice-captain AB de Villiers both were ruled out of the IPL opener.
Royal Challengers Bangalore have suffered a lot during the preseason of the Indian Premier League as they had to face with all the injuries in the world as the injury gods have taken away their star players.
Their captain Virat Kohli and their vice-captain AB de Villiers both were ruled out of the IPL opener while the former will be out for a longer period of time as the latter might make a comeback in near future.
The team from Bangalore struggled in the IPL opener as their game was not up to the mark. The team from Hyderabad did very well as they managed to get the better of their opponents in every department.
First, they outclassed them in the batting department, hitting 207 in the 20 overs allotted. Then in the bowling department as they defended the total with ease. And lastly in the fielding department where they saved every single run possible where, on the other hand, RCB had a rough day on the field.
Their captain Virat Kohli was watching from the dressing room and was not quite impressed with the effort as their team lost the game by 35 runs. However, the defeat seems to be behind them as he was busy posing for a picture with another superstar, AB de Villiers. Virat Kohli and the South African both are recovering well and that was the message the captain gave to their fans.
Virat who injured his shoulder during the 3rd Test against the Australians in Ranchi while AB de Villiers who has a sour back posted a photo on Facebook. The photo was captioned with a message saying that both are recovering from the injury quite well and will be back soon to entertain them all.
The caption read, “Great session today with the best in the world. Progress going well & on course to come back soon & entertain everyone out there.✌️? AB de Villiers #WoundedWarrior#BrotherFromAnotherMother.”
