Watch: Dernbach deceives Batsmen with an another special One
England one day and T20 specialist pacemen Jade Dernbach is known to bowl a variety of slower deliveries. He has mastered the art of slow bowling and surprises batsmen every now and then.
In NatWest T20 blast playing against Worcestershire in quarter finals he produced another such delivery. Joe Leach who batting on 20 was expecting the ball to be waist high but the ball in dipped in the last second and he was cleaned up with ball hitting the base of stumps in pursuit to score quickly. It was such a special ball, that it would have been pretty difficult even for the best in the game to negotiate it.
Dernbach took 2 wickets for 22 runs from his four overs spell as Surrey overpast Worcestershire total of 141 in 16.3 overs with 3 wickets in hand to enter semi- finals of the tournament. Worcestershire chase was powered by JJ Roy’s 23 ball 52. Surrey will face Warwickshire now in semis.
