Pakistan Test captain and batsman Misbah-ul-Haq entered an elite list of batsman who has done the unthinkable. The 42-year-old Misbah went berserk with his power hitting as he managed to hit 6 sixes of 6 balls for his team Hong Kong Islands on March 9th in the Hong Kong T20 Blitz.
The thrilling incident took place when Islands locked horns against Hung Hom Jaguars in an entertaining contest. The veteran batsman completely demolished bowler Imran Arif as he went for consecutive maximums in the 18th over.
He started the slaughter with sending a full toss over the boundary ropes in the fifth ball of the over following it up with towering biggie straight down the ground on the sixth. Bowler Ashley Caddy came in next but suffered a similar fate at the hands of the batsman in form.
Misbah shattered the bowler’s confidence hitting him for two consecutive sixes over the fine leg area which took him to 4 straight maximums. After consulting the skipper, Jaguar pacer Caddy went to deliver the third ball but things turned out to be even worse. The right-handed batsman did not show any sign of mercy as he smacked the ball into the stands for the third time in the over. He left the bowler completely heartbroken with a fourth one in four deliveries and achieved the feat of hitting six sixes in 6 balls.
