The Indian captain is already one of the greatest ODI batsmen to have played the game, and his numbers speak volumes. Virat Kohli is a class act and in the last four years, he has scored over 4000 runs at a breathtaking average of 65. Unlike other players, he always grinds out even on tough pitches and that makes his consistency hard to match.

In the CWC 2019, the Indian team will want their skipper in full flow as he has been their batting pillar after the last edition of the World Cup. Virat’s batting records are staggering but he has never played a substantial inning in knock-out ties which brings him to a score of 9.

Along with his batsmanship, Kohli has been the team’s role model for embracing fitness into their regime. He dives around and saves plenty of runs for the side. Even on the boundaries, Kohli has shown his extraordinary skills by taking some tough catches. Sometimes he puts down chances behind the stumps which has haunted the team, and that’s why he can be given a rating of 8.
