Yuzvendra Chahal amused as Quinton de Kock copies his famous relaxing pose

Despite being on duty for Haryana for the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy, India star Yuzvendra Chahal is keenly following the ongoing first Test between India and South Africa in Visakhapatnam. Chahal, who is yet to play a Test, is keeping a keen eye on the proceedings in Visakhapatnam and his social media activities prove that.

The leg-spinner did not waste much time in congratulating his senior teammate Rohit Sharma after the latter’s centuries in both the innings of the game. And in his latest tweet, Yuzvendra Chahal has left his fans in stitches by sharing a hilarious meme. After the end of day four’s play, Yuzvendra Chahal took to Twitter to hilariously tell Quinton de Kock that he cannot copy his pose.

Chahal was talking about his pose that had become viral during this year’s World Cup. The leggie had come up with that famous pose when India were taking on Sri Lanka. Despite not being a part of the game, he caught the fans’ attention with his antics on the sidelines. Donning a pair of sunglasses, he was seen resting on the edge of the boundary line and watching the match.

De Kock also came up with the same pose on a tough day for South Africa and Chahal was quick to advice his former Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate. Sharing a collage of his and De Kock’s poses, Chahal cheekily tweeted, “Quiny bhai aapse na ho paayega”

India take the upper hand

Talking about the game, India have firmly put the Proteas on the backfoot. Rohit Sharma scored his second century of the game as India declared their innings on 323 for 4 to set the visitors an improbable target of 395. Rohit top-scored with 127 while Cheteshwar Pujara scored 81. The likes of Ravindra Jadeja, Virat Kohli, and Ajinkya Rahane also played handy knocks.

India then bowled nine overs and still managed to pick up a wicket. Ravindra Jadeja gave hosts the first breakthrough by dismissing the dangerous Dean Elgar for just 2. The South Africa opener had starred with the bat first in the first innings, scoring 160 to help his side put up 431 in reply to India’s 502.
