Another one of those individuals who make it to this list sheerly because of their biased commentary is Ramiz Raja. The whole “Being biased to their countries” has become a very unhealthy and nonsensical trend in the cricket commentary world these days and there’s no way we can miss out his name whilst discussing this topic.

In the early days of his career as a commentator, he often used irrelevant metaphors and his sentence construction was poor on occasions. He always had a strong command over the language, but live commentary is a tough nut to crack and he did get over these weaknesses later.

But then, his problems are very similar to that of Sanjay Manjrekar. His voice modulation varies depending on how good or bad Pakistan are playing, which isn’t the best way to keep the audience glued to their TVs. He did have some fine moments during his tenure, but cricket needs more diplomatic and unbiased commentators right now.
