Not everybody has the ability to do what Andre Russell can. He can pull off some of the big heists all by himself and do that not once in a blue moon but repeatedly. His ability to hit sixes at will and against any bowler is remarkable. Russell can make a mockery of the boundaries and turn games on its head in the space of a few deliveries.

With the ball, the West Indian all-rounder can be pacy. Moreover, he has a knack of picking up wickets and breaking partnerships as well. He is also a good fielder. Hence, Russell comes as a package and no wonder, he is one of the popular names among T20 leagues in the world.

He was the first pick for the Southern Brave in the draft during The Hundred. They shelled out £125,000 to avail the services of the Jamaican-born all-rounder. But in the IPL, he is getting almost seven times more than that in The Hundred. In 2018, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), retained him for a sum of INR 7 crores.
