IPL is one of the most competitive leagues in the world. Here the best of the players can go wrong. The reason being the immense expectation levels of the fans and the constant pressure of performing well in front of big crowds. Besides the tight scheduling and the extensive amount of traveling involved in the tournament can also have a negative impact on the performances of players.

So these players must be provided a way of keeping themselves fresh throughout their stay. That’s why the league introduced the idea of IPL after-parties. Here the players can relax without thinking too much of their on-field performances. More importantly, it also allows the teams to solve their differences of opinion if any heated argument takes place during the game.

In short, the after-party is a required dose of entertainment for a cricketer after a hectic day in the office. Unfortunately, such parties might not be arranged in the upcoming season of IPL owing to the ongoing pandemic across the world. The cricketers tend to meet several people in such parties and it might put their lives at risk. Moreover, the BCCI might not earn the required income from this season so it is better to scrap the idea for the time being.
