Axar Patel and Harbhajan Singh were pretty much economical for the team and did not allow the Zimbabwean batsmen to score freely. Also, they kept on mounting pressure upon the Zimbabweans and thus the duo managed to clinch 5 of the Zimbabwean wickets together. Axar Patel conceded 17 runs in his 4 overs and took 3 wickets while Harbhajan conceded 29 in his 4 by taking 2 wickets. 4 – Sandeep Sharma’s Unpleasant Debut: Zimbabwe Vs India. Sandeep did not manage to perform well at all in his first international match. He opened the bowling with Bhuvaneshwar Kumar in the game and was thrashed brutally by the Zimbabwean openers. He conceded 34 runs in his 3 overs and went wicketless. Also, his bowling was not that disciplined as he bowled 2 wide deliveries in his spell. Many of the bowlers struggled with their line and length and conceded wides and no balls. 13 wide balls were being bowled by them coupled with 1 no ball. As many as 25 runs were conceded as extras. This stood to be the 5th most expensive bowling display by a team in international T20 in terms of extras conceded.
