Best young XI of IPL 2016
6. Krunal Pandya – Mumbai Indians:
If Hardik Pandya was the find of the season for Mumbai Indians last year, this year it was his elder brother who came up to the fore. Krunal Pandya caught the attention of the cricket world with his all-rounder abilities. In the 12 matches that he played, he scored 237 runs at an average of 39.5 and a powerful strike rate of 191.12, the most among any batsmen in the league stage with over 10 matches. His top score of 86 came in just 37 balls against the Delhi Daredevils. He also had 6 wickets to his name with a best of 2/15. Clearly, the young man from Baroda has shown a lot of promise and can be tagged as one of the future stars.
