9. Sunrisers Hyderabad- Akeal Hosein

West Indies left-arm spinner Akeal Hosein was bought by the Sunrisers Hyderabad for INR 1 crore at the IPL 2023 mini-auction. Hosein has some amount of experience under his belt in the shortest format having bagged 25 scalps from 29 T20Is averaging 29.56 and also has an average of 22 with the bat.

Hosein has been a consistent performer in the previous three editions of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and is on a roll in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL) 12 where he has taken 10 wickets from four matches for the Melbourne Renegades.

However, with already plenty of depth this time around in the SRH camp, it is highly unlikely that Akeal Hosein might get a chance to shine.
