Marco Jansen is a vital cog in SRH’s bowling unit due to his amazing fast-bowling skills. Along with the veteran Bhuvneshwar Kumar, his duty is to provide early breakthroughs to the team, but his numbers in the competition indicate that the speedster is still struggling to be efficient for the 2016 IPL champions.

In the big match against CSK at Chepauk, SRH batters gave their bowlers only 134 runs to defend. With the low total on the board, Sunrisers required a disciplined bowling show, but Jansen looked out of rhythm and gave away 37 runs in his three-over spell, without getting any scalps.

His dismal run with the ball continued against DC as well in Hyderabad. His colleagues Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umran Malik, and T Natarajan delivered thrifty spells to the team, while on the other hand, the 22-year-old went wicketless again and leaked 27 runs in his two-over spell.
