Mohammad Saleem has been a consistent performer in the domestic circuit in the last couple of years. He has been a consistent performer in Afghanistan’s first-class circuit taking 41 wickets in 12 matches at an average of 27.51.
Saleem had a great outing for Boost Defenders at the Shpageeza Cricket League 2022. He picked 11 wickets in nine games at an economy of 6.63 and played a crucial role in his team’s road to the Final.
Courtesy of the fine showing in the T20 tournament, the youngster has broken into Afghanistan’s squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup. Saleem could be a quite handful in seam-friendly conditions in Australia and would look to put on a great show with the ball.
