The Champions Trophy 2025 concluded in grand fashion with India securing a memorable four-wicket victory against New Zealand to win their third title in the marquee ODI tournament. Sunday, March 9, will truly go down as one of the greatest days as far as the storied history of Indian cricket is concerned. It was a hard-fought battle between the two sides. The athletic prowess of Glenn Phillips was never a secret. It was no surprise that Phillips' on-field expertise was on display during the recently-concluded tournament. In fact, there were three occurrences where the flying Kiwi left everyone awe-struck by virtue of his remarkable agility. The three grabs being taken into account are the grabs against Pakistan (at backward point), group-stage against India (at backward point), and the final against India (short extra cover).

All three batters were left stunned by the sheer manner in which Phillips leaped off the ground to hang on to the screamers which they were. Although the ones against India came in losing causes, the blazing all-rounder's stunning efforts were widely recognised by ex-cricketers and the cricketing ecosystem in general. Through those wonderful catches, the 28-year-old provided testament as to why he was considered as one of the greatest fielders in world cricket.
