Titas Sadhu was a vital cog in India's U-19 World Cup triumph. Scalping six wickets in six matches at an economy of 4.27, she emerged as the second-leading wicket-taker for the team in the competition. Using swing and bounce on the rapid tracks of South Africa, she delivered an impressive show to her team.

In the final match, the pacer dominated English batters with her disciplined bowling. With her attacking bowling, she wrecked the batting line-up of the opponents and clinched 2/6 figures on the big day. The 18-year-old also received the Player of the Match award for her extraordinary performance in the decider game.

At the WPL auction, her name was also featured among the players who went under the hammer. Her base price was INR 10 lakh but with the collision of DC and UPW on the auction table she got signed at INR 25 lakh by the former. After receiving decent money at the event, she will look forward to providing strength to her franchise with her pace bowling.
