India A will take on New Zealand A in the third four-day unofficial Test match of the ongoing three-match series in M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, on September 15, Thursday. The winner of the game would clinch the series as the first two matches ended in a draw.

The first match was also held in Bengaluru, and New Zealand-A scored 400 in the first innings. India-A, in reply, amassed 571 for the loss of six wickets. New Zealand played out the remaining 61 overs in the game, scoring 133 for the loss of four wickets.

The second game was marred by rains as there was no play on Day 1 and Day 3. India batted first on Day 2 and scored 229 for the loss of six wickets, and New Zealand A finished with 39 for the loss of two wickets in 12.5 overs on Day 4.

Pitch and Conditions

The pitch at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium generally offers a offers a good surface to bat in the first two days. As the match progresses, it offers a lot of turn and the spinners come into play. It gets very hard to bat on the final day against spinners. The weather conditions in Bengaluru have not been ideal for cricket since there is rain on cards. The temperature would be around 27 degrees during the day.

Playing Combinations for IND-A vs NZ-A

India

India might experiment with the middle order bringing in the in-form Sarfaraz Khan for Tilak Varma for the match. They might stick with the same bowling attack as they barely got the opportunity in the pprevious match.

Predicted Playing XI: Priyank Panchal (c), Abhimanyu Easwaran, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Rajat Patidar, Sarfaraz Khan, Srikar Bharat (wk), Shardul Thakur, Rahul Chahar, Saurabh Kumar, Umran Malik, Mukesh Kumar
