Lions will face Titans in the first match of the CSA T20 Challenge 2024 on Friday, September 27, at The Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. It will be the 20th edition of the tournament. Titans won the previous edition of the CSA T20 Challenge after defeating the Dolphins by four wickets. They chased down the target of 163 runs in 19.4 overs. It was the sixth title for the Titans and they became the most successful team in the tournament’s history. Neil Brand has been appointed the captain of the Titans and he has replaced Sibonelo Makhanya. Lions have picked Mitchell Van Buuren as the skipper for this edition of the tournament.
