Although he still looks like a 19-year-old, Parthiv has crossed 32 and is now a veteran in IPL. He has played for 6 different franchises over the course of 10 years in the league and has played 113 IPL matches. The left-hander needs to be commended for his grit as he has been playing in the MS Dhoni era where several wicket-keepers didn’t get a chance at the big stage. Parthiv is just not ready to give up and still going strong. Due to his consistent performances in domestic cricket, he had earned a call-up in the Indian Test side. He has continued his great form in IPL 10 as well and has scored 239 runs in 10 matches so far and has provided Mumbai Indians with quickfire starts on a number of occasions.

#7 Harbhajan Singh – 36 years

The veteran off-spinner has been out of the Indian side for quite some time. The emergence of Ravichandran Ashwin has kept him away from the squad but he has not given up. Especially in IPL, he has been a prolific contributor for Mumbai Indians for 10 years and once again, he has proved his worth. Harbhajan has picked up 5 wickets so far in 8 games but the best part of his performances has been the economy rate. He has given away just 5.87 runs per over and hasn’t allowed the batsmen to score freely off him. The off breaks and doosras have worked beautifully and he has been a stellar bowler in the line-up.

#8 Imran Tahir – 38 years

Despite being the number one ranked bowler in ICC T20 rankings, the South African leg-spinner went unsold in the player auction before the league. But later, Mitchell Marsh succumbed to an injury and was ruled out of the tournament and the Rising Pune Supergiant roped Tahir in as his replacement. And what a move that turned out to be! He proved why he is the best bowler in the format and troubled almost every batsman with his variations. He has claimed 16 wickets in 10 matches so far and is currently the second highest wicket-taker in the league only behind Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
