Like his elder brother, Mitchell Marsh also made his IPL debut before his international debut. In 2010, he played for the first time in the league featuring for the Deccan Chargers while he represented Australia in October 2011. The pace-bowling all-rounder has also been constantly in and out of the Australian national side (across formats) in recent times.

Marsh last played a T20 game in February earlier this year. Moreover, he is pretty injury-prone as well. The Western Australian all-rounder has been dealing with quite a few injury issues. He even broke down in the 2016 edition of the IPL. That was just his fourth season in the Indian T20 league.

Moreover, INR 2 crore is too high a base price for anyone to bid at the start. Most teams will want to invest in Indian all-rounders and also, Indian finishers down the order. Hence, the younger Marsh is one of the players from the top bracket who can go unsold.
