2. Fabian Allen
Fabian Allen, a left-arm orthodox bowler, and a useful batter in the lower order, is an experienced campaigner in the limited-overs format. He has been playing in the T20 format since 2017 when he started to represent St. Lucia Stars in the Caribbean Premier League. Over the years, he has featured in other franchise T20 leagues such as IPL, BPL, and PSL as well.
In the Caribbean Premier League 2021, Allen contributed 137 runs and scalped nine wickets in 12 matches. He played a key role by scoring 20 runs and returning with a spell of 1/17 off four overs in the finals to lift the maiden CPL trophy for St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots.
However, Allen has been quite average in the T20 format with his performances. In 69 matches, he has picked up a total of 42 wickets and garnered 750 runs. In IPL 2021, he featured for the Punjab Kings but got limited opportunities. If the team decides to bring in a spinner, Fabian can be a possible overseas option considering that he has a reputation to provide finishing touches to an innings.
