Meanwhile, the hosts Sri Lanka have lost their plot big time after their first game win. The third side, Bangladesh, look like a rejuvenated unit after their herculean record shattering run chase against the hosts.

Now, at the half way stage in the tournament, only team India are confident of making it to the finals with regard to the points table. The game is still wide open for the other two teams. With this backdrop, Bangladesh will take on India in the fifth game of the series. While the game serves as an ideal ground for India to strike consistency, Bangladesh will eye the match as an opportunity to make it to the finals.

Furthermore, the Indian team has the freedom of trying out their bench strength in the match. On the other hand, Bangladesh will have to field their best possible eleven in the game. In any case, the match promises to be an exciting one and the players would be itching to leave an imprint on the game for their respective sides.

As team India gears up for the game against Bangladesh, there is one Indian cricketer who would be under tremendous pressure to perform. And that cricketer is the Indian captain, Rohit Sharma. Rohit has had a terrible run of form in the recent times. He has failed to get a big score in the shortest format of the game.

His poor run of form has been continuing from the South Africa series. However, knocking the hard hitting Indian batsman, one could safely assume that a big knock is due from his willow. Every time he has struggled with poor form, Rohit has come back strong with a thumping performance.
