Shanthakumaran Sreesanth set to make his Bollywood debut with Aksar '2'
After his cricketing career was put to an end by the Indian cricket board due to his involvement in a spot fixing scandal in the IPL, Sreesanth has tried out different fields to revive his career.
Former Indian cricketer Shanthakumaran Sreesanth’s cricketing career might still be in question, but that did not stop him from stepping into the Indian film industry. The dramatic bowler’s life is slowly coming back to track after the Kerala High court decided to lift the life ban imposed on him by the BCCI. To add to the happiness, Sreesanth is all set for the launch of his debut as an actor in the upcoming movie, going by the name of Aksar ‘2’.

The cricketer who has appeared in several Dance Reality Shows will now be seen on the big screen of Bollywood. Speaking about the same, Sreesanth thanked all his dear ones for the constant love and support. Sreesanth has always believed in himself after suffering a dismal fate and he thinks there is more in store for him.

A big thank you to all those who supported me during the worst phase of my cricketing career as well as now since the ban against me playing the game again has been lifted, I believe there are many opportunities in store. Need all the love, support and encouragement always.” said Sreesanth.
Aksar 2 is produced by Varun Bajaj, Chirag Bajaj and Narendra Bajaj and is a Siddhivinayak Presentation. The film has been directed by Ananth Narayan Mahadevan which stars Gautam Rode, Zareen Khan, Abhinav Shukla, Mohit Madaan and Sreesanth. Mithoon has composed the music of the film and it is all set to hit the theatres soon.
