The mood in the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) is quite pleasant after the Faf du Plessis-led side has managed to win five games in a row. After their latest win against Delhi Capitals (DC) by 47 runs at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Virat Kohli and Karn Sharma joined forces to pull Mohammed Siraj's leg.

The star Indian pacer was giving his thoughts about RCB's miraculous comeback after they lost seven out of their first eight games. He asserted that the team was looking to control the controllables and focusing on one match at a time.

"What a comeback. We were only thinking about focussing on one match at a time. Qualification is not in our control. What is in our control -- fast bowlers have balls in their hands and batters have bats in their hands... All we have to do is attack. If we qualify then great. If not, we'll continue with the brand of cricket we are playing. That's our thinking and we are enjoying it as well," Siraj said in a video posted by RCB from the dressing room.

However, Karn was sitting right beside Siraj and was trying to understand what exactly was his teammate saying. The leg-spinner picked up one of Siraj's incomplete sentences and asked what he meant by "fast bowlers have balls in their hands and batters have bats". The Hyderabad-born failed to answer convincingly and Kohli, who was sitting next to them, joked about it. Kohli said that the 30-year-old should say: "Mujhe sirf stump dikhra". The former India captain's quirky voice makes the video more wholesome.

RCB are now well in contention for the playoffs. They are currently placed at No. 5 on the points table and would want to win their last home game against Chennai Super Kings on Saturday, May 18. Meanwhile, a win for Chennai will all but assure them a spot in the playoffs.
