Not only the duration but the scenario, energy, competence with which it is played today is un-matched.

Zimbabwe was on their tour of Kenya, playing the 2nd ODI of the series at Mombasaon on the 29th January, 2009. A steady start to the innings got them close to hundred runs in the first 20 over’s for the loss of a couple of wickets. The middle order took over from there and played one of the best we have seen form them in some years. Matsikenyeri, Waller and Chugumbura all three of them scored half-centuries. This took their score close to the 350 run mark which was never achieved in their ODI history. 30 extra’s contributed and at the end of 50 over’s Zimbabwe had 351 runs on the board for the loss of 7 wickets. With the help of which they beat Kenya by 151 runs.
