In their group fixture at the World T20 2012, defending champions, England posted a huge total of 196/5 against Associates Afghanistan with Luke Wright remaining not out after a sizzling knock of 99 runs from 55 balls. Afghanistan, on the other hand, failed to put up any fight as were bundled out for 80 runs. England won by a dominating 116 runs.
