Batting first, South Africa posted a mammoth total of 211/5. After a good start by Graeme Smith and Jacques Kallis, AB de Villiers displayed some phenomenal pinch hitting by smashing 79 runs of just 34 balls. Chasing a daunting 212, Scotland were reduced to a hopeless 50 for 6 at the halfway point before being bowled out for 81. South Africa achieved a crushing victory of 130 runs.
