The 9th edition of the IPL saw as many as 635 sixes being hit. Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli was the chief destroyer of the ball as he hit the most number of sixes, with 38 sixes to his name. While the sixes were many, there were a few that were huge and went into the orbits. Here are the top 10 longest sixes of IPL 2016:

10. Rohit Sharma (MI) – 104m v RPS

After losing the tournament opener to the Rising Pune Supergiants, Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma made sure that his side emerged victorious the next time that they met at Pune. Rohit’s unbeaten 85 saw Mumbai Indians thump RPS by 8 wickets. En route his juggernaut innings, Rohit hammered Rajat Bhatia for a 104m six that sailed deep into the stands.
