Bangladesh top the list with their worst ever performance in World cups. They played West Indies in a group match in Dhaka and batted first after winning the toss. But soon they staring at the bottom of the barrel with score on 7 for 56 and were soon dismissed for 58 runs. West Indian spinner Suleiman Benn took 4 wickets for just 18 runs.

West Indies easily chased the runs with Gayle scoring 37 runs and West Indies scored the runs in just 12 overs. Later the Bangladeshi fans stoned the West Indies team bus after mistaking it for the Bangladeshi team bus.

The 58 runs that Bangladesh scored remains the lowest score by a test nation in World Cup cricket.
