All the stats and numbers that were recorded during the thriller between New Zealand and England.
England brought an end to the losing streak in the Trans-Tasman T20I series which wasn’t sufficient for them to make it to the finals ahead of New Zealand. Captain Eoin Morgan stroked an unbeaten 80 off 46 balls to take England’s total to 194/7. Colin Munro blasted 21-ball 57 upfront as Kiwis were cruising at one stage before England spinners returned with economical spells. Though the home side got to 175 that put them in the finals, they managed only nine runs in the final over when 12 runs were needed for a win.
