Vodafone's ZooZoos to make a comeback in IPL 2017
The upcoming season of the IPL will see Vodafone bring in new engagements to attract more fans.
Vodafone will bring back the plumpy ZooZoos for the 10th edition of the Indian Premier League. The telecom company has been associated with this tournament since the very first season in 2008 and the ZooZoos have sure been instrumental in enlarging the fan base on social media.
The upcoming season of the IPL will see Vodafone bring in new engagements to attract more fans. Initiatives such as the SuperFanKiSuperwish and SuperCheer are sure to get fans and spectators flocking to the stadiums to cash in on unique opportunities.
The SuperFanKiSuperwish allows winning customers to either dine with their favourite cricketer, take part in a net practice session with IPL stars, be part of the pre-match Extra Innings show on Sony or even take a selfie with the scintillating IPL trophy. On the other hand, a SuperFan has the option of watching the game from a Vodafone store nearby, in case he or she is unable to attend the match at the stadium. Participants need only to send an SMS or log on to the Vodafone app in order to avail the opportunities.
While telecom companies continue to provide more facilities and offers on data, Vodafone have their attention of featuring everyday life moments using its Data Strong Network. The brand promises to bring in new stories on television in the course of the next two months.
EVP- marketing, Vodafone India Siddharth Banerjee, mentioned that the IPL campaign will have a considerable presence in the digital world. Banerjee said, “Our spends on digital this financial year increased by 50%. We have also set up an in-house social listening room to understand the pulse of our fan base.”
Fans will look forward to see these little characters bobbing their heads up and down with the signature dance steps in this season of the IPL beginning on 5th April.
