Afghanistan skipper Gulbadin Naib along with Mohammad Nabi will be the two key players for them in terms of finishing their innings on a good note. Nabi has played in almost every major T20 league in the world and his experience at the end of the innings will be very useful for the team. He is a clean striker of the ball and the experienced campaigner has the ability to play the big shots.

Rashid Khan has also improved his batting in the last few years and can play useful cameos for his side. The inconsistency of these lower order batsmen is a reason to worry for the team. Also, Afghanistan has played most of their International matches against the lower ranked sides and the performance of the lower order against the top bowlers of the game will be tested in the World Cup.
