These modern day greats have enjoyed limited overs cricket with their attacking batsmanship and left a lasting impression on the game itself. Here we look at 5 Batsmen with an ODI hundred against all Test playing nations: 5. Sachin Tendulkar – 451 innings: (Photo Source: PhotoSport) The great batsman took 79 ODIs to score his first century; the rest as they say is history. One of the game’s all-time greatest icons, Tendulkar scored runs against the best bowlers in all conditions. A complete batsman, he holds just about every batting record worth owning in the game, including those for most runs and hundreds in Tests and ODIs, and most international runs. He played 463 ODIs scoring a staggering 18,426 runs with 96 half-centuries and 49 tons. He completed the set of scoring ODI tons against all Test-playing nations with his century against Bangladesh in Dhaka on March 16, 2012. It came in his 451st innings. This was the penultimate match of his ODI career and with it he brought up his 100th international century and his first ODI ton against Bangladesh. Ponting is Australia’s leading run-scorer in Test and ODI cricket. He holds the distinction of being the only cricketer in history to be involved in 100 Test victories. He also holds the record to have been involved in the most ODI victories as a player, with 262 wins. He played 375 ODIs scoring 13,704 runs with 82 half-centuries and 30 tons. He completed the set of scoring ODI tons against all Test playing nations with a century against Bangladesh in Darwin on August 6, 2003 which was his 174th innings. 3. His knock of 175 off 111 balls at the Wanderers in 2006, against the Aussies, is arguably the one of the greatest ever in the history of ODI cricket. It helped South Africa clinch a one-day series against Australia in an incredible record run chase. He played 248 ODIs scoring 8094 runs with 37 half-centuries and 21 tons. He completed scoring ODI tons against all Test playing nations with a century against England in Cape Town on February 6, 2005 which was his 159th innings. 2. A typical modern-day cricketer, he plays aggressive cricket and is never shy to display his emotions on and off the field. Kohli is the most dependable batsman in the Indian middle order and has played many match-winning innings for his team. A master of a run chase, his ability to assess the match situation and pace his innings accordingly is second to none. He has all the shots in the book and above all has a sound temperament which helps him be on top of his game. Virat has played 165 ODIs scoring 6824 runs with 34 half-centuries and 23 tons. He completed scoring ODI tons against all Test playing nations with a century against South Africa at Chepauk on October 23, 2015 which was his 157th innings. 1. He has played 125 ODIs scoring 5985 runs with 28 half-centuries and 21 tons.
