South Africa are looking in great touch in this competition as they are placed in the third spot on the points table with two victories off two outings. The Proteas looked fabulous in their first game at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, registering a 102-run win against the Dasun Shanaka-led Sri Lanka.

The Proteas scripted history in this game in Delhi as they chalked up 428 runs in 50 overs which is the highest-ever team total in the World Cup. Quinton de Kock, Rassie van der Dussen, and Aiden Markram notched up centuries in this contest and it was the first time in the World Cup when three tons were scored in an innings.

de Kock chalked up 100 off 84 while van der Dussen also contributed 108 off 110. Markram attracted a lot of attention for scoring the fastest World Cup century in just 49 deliveries. Markram also received the Player of the Match award for his stunning batting display in this game.
