2. Joe Root

This dismissal of Joe Root happened in the same match against India in which Kohli got out for a duck. England was set to chase just a 230-run target and felt that they had a chance. But it was not to be as Jasprit Bumrah had other ideas. He first dismissed Dawid Malan as the batter inside-edged a ball onto his stumps. 

And the very next ball trapped Joe Root right in front of the stumps. Root tried to flick the ball onto the leg side and was hit in front of the stumps. Root went for DRS and while the ultraedge didn’t show any spikes, the ball was crashing into the stumps. Joe Root was dismissed for a golden duck.
