India’s demolition job in that match in Lucknow against England continued. Mohammad Shami had gotten rid of Jonny Bairstow after Bumrah’s initial burst. Much was expected of Ben Stokes, but it was not to be as he was dismissed by Shami for a 7-ball duck. Shami set up Stokes beautifully by taking the ball away from him by bowling length and then bowled one a bit fuller. As Stokes tried to swat him on the off-side, the ball just smashed into his stumps. India went on to win the match by 100 runs.
