WPL 2023: 5 Indian batters to watch out for

2. Richa Ghosh
Richa Ghosh is known for her ferocious batting attitude and brilliant wicket-keeping potential. In the past, relying on her match-finishing skills, she has taken India home against quality teams. In the game against Pakistan in the Women’s T20 World Cup, she showcased her efficiency with an unbeaten match-winning knock of 31 runs.
The 19-year-old also ended up becoming the second-highest run-scorer for India in the tournament. Racking up 136 runs in five games at a jaw-dropping strike rate of 130.76, the right-handed batter proved her worth in the team.
Enticed by her tremendous batting record, RCB and DC got involved in a fierce bidding war for her. In the end, RCB won the contest as they signed her for INR 1.9 crore. Supporters will be keen to watch this swashbuckling player’s performance in the star-studded RCB team.
