Sri Lanka won the rain-curtailed first ODI by five wickets as they chased down a revised target of 232 runs in 31.5 overs with 31 balls to spare.
Sri Lanka are all set to host the West Indies in a three-match T20I series. The three games will be played on October 13, 15, and 17 at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla.
The Royals would have been hopeful for a top of the table finish too given their earlier form in the competition but a third defeat for them in recent matches means they may have to settle for less.
