Ravi Ashwin has been a champion for the Indian team with his off-spin bowling. He is a smart cricketer, who outsmarts the batsmen with his set of plans. In WC 2015, Ashwin was one of the vital cogs of the team, as he had variations in his armoury. He outfoxed 13 batsmen in 8 matches with an economy rate of 4.5. Ravi bowled as a lead spinner and provided the important breakthroughs for his captain.

The Chinaman, Kuldeep Yadav is the lead spinner for the Indian team in the WC 2019. With his unique skill-set and variations, Kuldeep can be the game changer in this edition. Kuldeep has the knack of taking wickets, and he always bowls attacking lines even on flat pitches. India needs a bowler who can enforce himself on the opposition, and Kuldeep can take up this role which is similar to Ashwin’s role in WC 2015.
