Hardik Pandya shares unseen video of son Agastya on birthday, following divorce with wife

Hardik Pandya had gone through a rough patch professionally as he had to conclude the World Cup 2023 campaign due to injury and Mumbai Indians’ dismal performance under his captaincy in IPL 2024. But the all-rounder rose to the occasion in T20 World Cup 2024 with some match-winning performances and the nerve-wracking last over in the final.
Amidst all the developments, his personal life dominated headlines with his divorce news catching fire, and he announced the separation on July 19. Hardik and his wife have decided to co-parent their only child, Agastya. As their son celebrates his 4th birthday on July 30, the doting father shared an emotional post on Instagram. Hardik while sharing a video of his time with his son on social media and mentioned that the latter keeps him going.

“You keep me going every single day! Happy birthday to my partner in crime, my whole heart, my Agu. Love you beyond words,” Hardik captioned the post.

Gambhir imparts bizarreness with debut coaching stint
Gautam Gambhir was named as the head coach of the Indian team and with him came his preferences in coaching setup, namely Abhishek Nayar and Ryan ten Doeschate as assistant coaches. It is worth noting that previously in his interview, the former India opener had come hard at management for stripping him from the vice-captaincy position in 2012, keeping captain's position intact after the team’s shambolic performances.

Fans started drawing parallels between the veteran’s previous statements as Hardik was removed from his vice-captaincy position ahead of the white-ball tour to Sri Lanka. Moreover, Suryakumar Yadav and Shubman Gill were named as the captain and vice-captain in T20Is. For the unversed, Nayar and Doeschate have served as an assistant coach and player, respectively, for Kolkata Knight Riders under Gambhir. While Suryakumar was signed by KKR in 2014, Gill debuted for the team in 2018.
